Wallace Earl SCHULTZ was b. 9 Jun 1889 in Miller, KS to parents William SHULTZ (1866-1948) and Sarah Fannie WHITMORE (1860-1959). Wallace was one of 9 children born to this couple including Wallace Earl; Retta; Lewis G.; Rosa J.; Rata H.; Lena L.; Dearald H.; Lela Lucy; and Ebur S. SHULTZ, all born between 1889 and 1908. For some family members the name was spelled SCHULTZ and other used SHULTZ. Wallace married Myrtle Lydia SPENCER (1891-1972) and they had one daughter, Evelyn Violet SCHULTZ (1915-2001).
Wallace died in 1964 in Priest River, ID and is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, ID. His obituary lists his survivors including his wife Myrtle, and a daughter Mrs. Evelyn KORN of Portland, and two sisters in Kansas.
This old photograph of Wallace Earl SCHULTZ which was taken at the Bert Howell Studio in Osage City, KS. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Wallace just about one year old at the time. A note on the back of the photograph says, "when he was a baby".
